A graduate civil engineer, Gayton Marks managed the design-build office for an engineered structural products company for several years before founding Alternate Building Systems, Inc. in 1984. His experience and ability to provide engineering services is what quickly set ABS apart as a supplier and subcontractor for structural building products and architectural metals.
